How to Choose The Right Mat

What do you need the mat for?

Rubber Scraper Mats

Doorways and entrance areas are one of the locations within a building that most need a rubber mat. Rubber scraper mats have some very specific characteristics that make them an ideal choice for an entryway. Rubber scraper mats feature heavy-duty, 100-percent Nitrile rubber to withstand high traffic. They are skid resistant, and grease- and oil- proof as well. One key feature of a rubber scraper mat is that while they are highly durable, they are not very thick, providing clearing for the door when you place it in a doorway. Perhaps the best feature of this style mat is its raised oval design, which scrapes off dirt and other debris from shoes. Simply sweep or hose off for easy cleaning.

Anti-Fatigue Mats

These mats lie upon hard flooring, such as cement, to provide a cushion and absorb shock. They are great for places such as a kitchen, factory, or even the flooring around the area where a hairstylist works all day. They are very easy to clean, and come in single or interlocking pieces for use in large spaces.

This makes them ideal for high traffic areas such as a restaurant kitchen, or the entryway of a busy building. Drainage mats> have a raised patterned surface, great for catching debris and dirt, along with holes within the mat that let liquids seep through. The raised pattern also provides great traction should the mat become wet. Made from 100 percent Nitrile rubber, these mats are also oil, petroleum, and grease proof as well. Another perk of this style mat is how easy it is to clean. Simply sweep it off, hose it down, and then hang it to dry.
